LA MAISON BLEUE

A lovely 130 sq. meter 4-bedroom holiday home, very close to the sea, with a garden, a roof terrace and a veranda. The property can accommodate up to 10 people. It is a typical Sardinian ground floor house with a roof covered with terracotta tiles.

Welcome to LA MAISON BLEUE!

Located not far from the villages of Sorso and Castelsardo in the province of Sassari (northern Sardinia), La Maison bleue is ideally situated amidst vineyards, olive groves and fruit trees.

The dining room

The dining area communicates directly with the kitchen and has a generous dining room table. There is also a sofa corner, a fireplace and a TV with a large collection of DVDs.

The kitchen

Modern and functional (two fridges, a dishwasher, a stove...), it is open to the living room/dining room, American style. It has large worktops and all the necessary small appliances - toaster, kettle, microwave... but the coffee maker is Italian style!

The master bedroom

It has a queen size bed (160cm), a large wardrobe and a desk.

The children's room

There are two wide bunk beds (90cm) and a chest of drawers for storage.

The family room

It has a queen size bed (160cm) and a large wardrobe. It also has an umbrella bed for a small child.

The guest room

It includes two single beds (90cm) separated by their respective bedside lamps. A chest of drawers is also available.

The shower room

Spacious, it is equipped with a large Italian shower, two wash basins, a toilet and a washing machine.

The bathroom

Small but practical, it has a bathtub with shower, a wash basin and a toilet.

The verandah

On the vineyard side, the house has a large shaded veranda, perfect in the evening and to enjoy the barbecue at your disposal.

How to get there?

The house is 45 min. by car from Fertilia airport (Alghero). The journey is a little longer (1h30) if you arrive from Olbia airport. If you decide to come by boat, it will only take you 20 minutes by car from the Porto Torres landing stage.

The surroundings

The house is very close to the sea and only five minutes away from a grocery store. It takes 10 mins to drive to the centre of Sorso where you will find all the necessary shops (food, pharmacy, coffee shops...). The food market takes place every Wednesday from 8.30 am to 1 pm.

Castelsardo

A beautiful historic village overlooked by a 13th century castle, with museums and craft shops (good). The walk and the view from the top of the village are well worth a visit. Distance : 20 min.

Isola Rossa

An absolutely typical old fishing village along the Gallura coast - between Santa Teresa and Badesi, whose beach fascinates with its white sand and the red-purple granite of its rocks. Distance : 45 min.

Platamona Beach

The beaches follow one another all along the coastline. The one in Platamona is magnificent and has all the summer amenities (bars, snacks...). Distance : 5 min.

La Pelosa Beach

One of our favorites. But to reach its white sandy beaches and transparent water, you have to go to the village of Stintino. Distance : 45 min.

Alghero

Surrounded by ancient fortifications, the town of Alghero - famous for its Catalan Gothic architecture, is one of the most beautiful in Sardinia. Its ramparts offer breathtaking sunsets. Distance : 45 min.

Sorso

Very well supplied, the village of Sorso is ideal for shopping for the week. Distance : 10 min.

A spacious private and fenced/secure garden surrounds the house.

If you have small children, an umbrella bed, a high chair, a stroller and a microwave, amongst other things are available.

House cleaning
The house cleaning is included in the price of your rental.
TV
There is one television in the living room which is only connected to a dvd player. A large choice of dvds is available.

Washing machine
There is a washing machine and a drying rack.
Mosquito net
All the windows and doors of the house are equipped with a mosquito net.

10 minutes away from the beach, the house is cosy and comfortable. We spent a great holiday with another couple and 4 children. The dining-living room was large enough for all of us. The rooftop terrace offers a wonderful view and is a good spot to watch the sunset. The terrace at the front of the house is a real pleasure to have supper in the evenings after the beach. Children can freely play and run in the big property totally enclosed and shadowed by trees. We felt very comfortable and we will return with no hesitation!

It is very good located place. The sea is in 15 minutes walk. The House is great. The kitchen is fully equipped, it's such a pleasure to cook in good conditions like these!

This calendar is for guideline purposes only, it is possible that requests may cross each other. You will be informed of the actual availability for the house by email once you have requested your reservation.

Your reservation

Do not hesitate to write to us if you are interested in a stay at La Maison bleue. We will be pleased to answer you within 24 hours.

→ Rental is by the week, from Sunday to Sunday (depending on possible flights between Geneva and Alghero).
→ House check-in is at 4pm, and check-out is at 11am.
→ If the house is available at the chosen dates, you will receive a contract which will detail the instructions
→ Booking confirmation is effective once deposit payment (50% of the total amount) is received.
